CHicktoria (Victoria)

So Steveo and I ventured to Victoria for the weekend. A farewell adventure for us lovers to share. We staying with Sean and Ian, a couple of amazing individuals. We brunched, drank, and weeded. Here are a few shots of the weekend. The spiders name is Sally and the flowers are from the meadow. The breakfast shot is from Sunday and it was amazing. I also shared an amazing evening with another lover of mine, Shannon. No pics, left the nikon at home that night :(

Summer Plans

For my summer of 2011, I will be working at Langara Island Lodge, located on the north western tip of Haida Gwaii (commonly known as The Queen Charlottes). It is a fishing lodge were men, women and children (maybe not) adventure to with hopes of catching magnificent pacific salmon, halibut, and other tasty fishies.

I have successfully reached poor student status, so this job provides some much needed light at the end of the tunnel (aka money, mula, dough) I have an amazing best friend/lover/partner who I will miss very deeply, however. Leaving the city to become rich in salmon money isn't easy; I will also miss all of my adventure buddies who will be holding it down in Van. Have a wicked summer everyone!

NACHO NIGHT

Nacho Night was the bomb. I made far too many but we did our best. These were vegetarian, since I had gone way over my meat quota on Savary with The Boys and Anna the previous weekend. Woah, boy.

I remember and cherish
times with friends

playing games,

sitting by the sea,
bathing in the sun,
burning in the heat,
crying from the pain,
learning from the hurt,
laughing at the jokes,
creating our own jokes,
suffering through practise,
winning trophies at tournaments,
catching slugs instead of fish,
swimming with dolphins,
watching the sun rise,
and set,
adventuring through cities,
running away from cities,
meeting crazy people,
loving crazy people,
missing people,
hating people,
craving people,
admiring people,
dining out with friends,
making dinners at home,
parties without parents,
parties with parents,
arguing with my mom and dad,
loving my mom and dad with my entire heart,
fighting and forgiving friends,
growing apart,
growing closer,
getting older,
getting younger,
feeling sad, happy, angry, tired, lost, beat, unloved, loved, strong, weak

I remember and cherish
all that makes me who I am today.

I relish in the idea of what is to come and will never forget what has happened to me. These memories are the most valuable thing one could ever own, and I could not feel more wealthy.
